Telecom Support Technician in Raleigh

Randstad is looking for a Deskside Support Technician who has some Telecom PBX experience. Full Time Contract

The person in this position is a member of the Information Services Team and is responsible for providing desktop support services to employees. This team member will setup, configure, and install customer desktops within the business as well as maintain a hardware and software inventory, provide customer support by telephone, email, remote access, or in-person. Proven and effective proficiency with typical desktop software products is required.

This position will also have some smaller Telecom responsibility such as creating and maintaining phone extensions in the PBX.

Microsoft Windows 7, 10 Professional installation and configuration.

Desktop hardware repair and diagnosis

Windows client connectivity to Active Directory environment.

Experience using a help desk ticketing system

Able to handle changing priorities in a complex environment.

Excellent written and verbal skills, and task flexibility

Attention to detail and good documentation skills

Demonstrated problem-solving expertise

Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines

Familiarity with phone systems and Windows imaging solutions.

Familiarity with PBX Phone System
